ABSA | RETAINER:
A SHOWCASE OF RESPONSIVENESS AND IMPACTFUL DELIVERIES
In a business environment often described by its urgencies, The Retainer initiative with our client is all about rapid-fire execution—80% of requests require a 24-hour turnaround. It's a high-stakes arena, but Yanai and Krysie have not just met expectations, they've shattered them, delivering an astonishing 26 projects.
One of the most striking highlights has been the newly-refreshed People and Culture Strategy, a game-changer that has already resulted in R12 million worth of spin-off projects for 2023.
Krysie, described by Magda as her "most favourite person at TPA" and a "trusted confidant," has shown exceptional determination in her role. Her late-night commitments and ability to exceed expectations have made her an invaluable partner.
Yanai, on the other hand, has been lauded for his meticulous attention to detail. His knack for distilling 100-slide presentations down to their most impactful elements has made him a client favourite.
It's not just about completing projects; it's about delivering them with such exceptional quality that they lead to more opportunities. Yanai's detail orientation and Krysie's determination have become the adhesive that binds together disparate ideas into a cohesive, impactful whole. A heartfelt thank you to both for being such an integral part of this initiative's monumental success.

ABSA | WELLNESS:
A MILESTONE OF AUTHENTIC CARE AND IMPACT
When it comes to wellness, businesses often focus on benefits and programmes. When Absa approached us to co-create a holistic wellness programme, we were determined to take a different approach. Following a deep dive into the research, and an immersion into what is means to design from a humancentric perspective, Natalie, Maryke, Tanya and Eloise were able to craft and deliver a thought-provoking piece of work that did more than just tick a box — it made wellness a lived experience and showcased what it genuinely means to care. This wasn't about numbers or metrics; it was about the human element, and about caring authentically.
Their determination, grit, and unique ability to 'co-sense' what truly matters turned this initiative into a milestone for Absa. But they didn't stop at sensing; they wrestled with these insights to add a layer of profound sensibility that made wellness tangible and real for everyone involved.
Absa’s Group Head of Health and Wellness, Dr Lesego Rametsi-Dikoma’s ringing endorsement captures it best:
"Whenever I deal with TPA, I just know that what I'll get will be amazing."
This time, the team went beyond amazing, setting a new standard for what corporate wellness can and should be. This initiative stands not only as a testament to the team's capability but as a model for others to emulate. It's more than a success; it's a paradigm shift in understanding wellness.

ABSA | LDS:
A YEAR OF TENACITY, COMMITMENT, AND UNPRECEDENTED GROWTH
“We won’t do it without TPA!”
At the onset, the year for LDS seemed to be overshadowed by the tragic passing of a 20-year partner in Grant Hill, whose impact on the company left an unfillable void. However, under Saretha's leadership, the team didn't just persevere—they thrived. Completing an astonishing 29 projects in just one year is not merely an achievement; it's a testament to the tenacity, commitment, and discipline embedded in the team's DNA.
Navigating the intricate dance of scoping, selling, and re-selling before even getting to the project delivery phase, the team demonstrated the kind of grit that shifts mountains, and yes, even oceans. Special kudos to Lauren and Hanlie, who have elevated the Graduate Programme to such an extent that clients now declare, "We won’t do this without TPA."
The unique strengths each team member brought to the table created a synergy that powered LDS through a challenging year. Seretha's tenacity, Lauren's commitment, Hanlie's thoughtfulness, and El-Karien's discipline have become the secret sauce that keeps the LDS wheel turning.
In a year where long-distance relationships were put to the test, LDS proved that with the right blend of qualities, not only do they work, they excel.

ABSA | CYBERSECURITY
TRANSFORMING CYBER SECURITY CULTURE WITH ABSA’S #EVENME:
A SCAFFOLDING OF TRUST AND VIGILANCE
In a landscape where cyber threats loom larger than ever, Absa's #EvenMe campaign stood as a sentinel of change, cultivating a culture of proactive cyber security. Far from treating cyber awareness as a mere IT issue, #EvenMe broke new ground by enabling an open environment where colleagues felt secure enough to discuss their vulnerabilities, including those awkward moments of clicking on a phishing link.
This wasn't merely a campaign; it was a holistic behaviour change engine layered with support, relatability, and reinforcement. By sharing personal stories and experiences, Absa colleagues not only heightened awareness but created a collective ethos of vigilance. Cybersecurity, as #EvenMe highlighted, isn't the sole domain of IT experts—it's everyone's responsibility.
The resounding success of #EvenMe can be attributed to its focus on enabling conversation and learning from shared experiences. It redefined cyber security from being a daunting, often neglected topic to becoming a communal commitment to safeguarding the institution and each other. In doing so, Absa didn't just make a campaign, it created a resilient, cyber-smart community.
